Oil paints are the gold standard of mediums throughout the history of art, and oil painting is a practice you can develop through a lifetime. This is a class that includes both beginners and advanced amateurs looking to find their signature styles. It's for people who want to have fun painting -- and are also serious about expanding their talents.
Unlike many other painting classes, this is a small class, limited to a maximum of 8 students. For beginners, it breaks down the fundamentals of oil painting into manageable blocks, to swiftly give you the tools to start expressing yourself on canvas. Intermediate and advanced students, concentrate on developing the techniques most important to their vision. At all levels, students draw inspiration from each others' work.
All Downtown Painting classes come with a complete money-back guarantee. If you sign up for a class and it's not what you expected or you are unhappy with it it for any reason, you will get a refund, no questions asked.
Materials are not included. A materials list will be provided before the first session. or you can pay a $125 materials fee that will cover everything you need.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
