What you'll learn in this cooking techniques class:
Pucker up! Learn how to make a variety of mouthwatering dishes with the bright, sunshiny flavor of lemons. They're not just for cocktails anymore!
Menu:
- Roasted Asparagus with Lemon Aioli and Crispy Prosciutto
- Sautéed Trout with Lemon-Caper Butter Sauce and Parsley Gremolata
- Roasted Wedge Potatoes with Preserved Lemon Vinaigrette and Feta Cheese
- Lemon Mousse with Fresh Berries
Skills covered in class:
- Roasting green vegetables
- Making cold emulsions
- Working with preserved lemons
- Preparing vinaigrettes
- Working with fresh herbs
- Balancing flavors
- Selecting and sautéing fish
- Determining fish doneness
- Preparing butter sauces

If you do not cancel by telephone at least 1 week in advance of your scheduled class, we will charge your credit card in full for the class. Please feel free to send a friend in your place if you cannot attend and it is within one week of the class as no refunds will be available. All classes also have a non-refundable, non-transferable 10% fee for the operational and administrative costs incurred by The Chopping Block. This service fee will not be refunded and cannot be transferred in the case of any cancellation.
Please note: all virtual class sales are final. All virtual students will receive a recording of the class within 48 hours of the class.
