This course provides a comprehensive foundation in drawing, painting, design, and art history for aspiring artists of all backgrounds. Throughout the semester, you will explore a diverse range of artistic techniques, including pencil, ink, and watercolor painting, working with varied subject matter such as still life, figure drawing, portraiture, landscape, and illustration. Our curriculum emphasizes guided development of your personal artistic style, creative interests, and unique visual storytelling voice.

While homework is optional, it is highly recommended for maximizing your learning outcomes and skill development. Complete assignments at your own pace and receive valuable feedback to accelerate your artistic growth.
