Class Description

Description

What you'll learn in this screenwriting class:

You dream of writing a killer script that launches you to the top of “The Black List” and gets you a seven figure deal. Veteran screenwriter Chris Reed (12 scripts sold) can help. He’s written for all the big boys, Disney, Fox, Sony, and Nickelodeon and even created the a screenplay “Jaguar” that would eventually become “The Lion King” while working on a three-picture deal at Disney Feature Animation.

In this five-week Online Intro Screenwriting Class, you’ll get Chris’s help on your great movie idea and how to turn it into a terrific script. Chris will teach you about story structure, outlining, the intersection of character and conflict, the difference between plot and story, formatting, and scene writing. He’ll also share his secrets for breaking into the business and staying there and how to avoid the rookie mistakes that could end your career. By the end of the class, you’ll understand the fundamentals of screenwriting craft, honed your project’s premise, characters, and even written a beat sheet.

If you haven’t taken a Screenwriting class before, we suggest you start with Screenwriting 101 to help get you up to speed!
