Peter Iliff

Having sold or been hired to write over 50 film and TV projects for six figure fees, Peter Iliff has written under contract for nearly every major studio and TV network in Hollywood. He broke into Hollywood’s A-List while working as a waiter, when he sold his spec script, "Point Break," to Ridley Scott and Columbia Pictures in 1987. Peter's produced feature films include "Patriot Games" with Harrison Ford, "Under Suspicion" with Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman, "Varsity Blues", and last year’s "Rites of Passage" with Christian Slater, which he also directed. Peter has also script-doctored films such as Guillermo Del Toro’s “Mimic” and James Foley’s "Fear" staring Mark Walberg. He has worked with many of the filmmakers who inspired him to get into the business including James Cameron, Kathryn Bigelow, Ron Howard, John Woo, Martin Campbell, Phillip Noyce, Richard Donner, Stephen Hopkins, John McTiernan, Nick Broomfield, and Guillermo Del Toro. Peter has also sold eight television pilots and is currently working in the writing room of his new crime drama series he created for Netflix with the producer of "Entourage" and director of "The Fast & the Furious.”
