Students who took the Intro to Glassblowing: Tumblers Glasses class at Brooklyn Glass had overwhelmingly positive feedback about their experience. They praised the instructors, describing them as excellent, personable, and knowledgeable. The class was seen as informative, fun, and challenging, with several students expressing their desire to continue learning and taking more courses at Brooklyn Glass. Students appreciated the hands-on nature of the class and the individual attention they received in small groups. Many students were impressed with the amount they learned and the skills they acquired, such as gathering and manipulating glass. Overall, the class was seen as a great introduction to glass blowing and an enjoyable experience. Quotes: - "The instructor let us know early on that making a tumbler is a pretty advanced piece of glass blowing, and that he would be assisting a lot. This was certainly the case, but I was very happy with the amount of hands-on work we got to do during this course, including learning how to gather and manipulate glass. You get up close and personal with several furnaces, so a high tolerance for heat is required." - "The instructors were very knowledgeable and patient, keeping us safe while making sure we all had fun. I would definitely do this again and bring my family with me!" - "This class was a lot of fun. It felt a little large at times but it was clear the instructors really loved teaching and made sure to not overload us with information. We had enough hands-on work that you really worked with the glass yourself but they intervened enough that you were successful at it. Highly recommend it!"
