Students will be encouraged to experiment with various materials to create texture on vessels and sculpture. Materials such as sand, commercial lava glazes, and chemicals will be used on greenware and bisque ware to make ceramic pieces look weather-worn. Students will also be encouraged to explore their abilities to create free-form organic shapes and forms. Imperfection is the aim of this class.
