What you'll learn in this sculpture class:
Try your hands at sculpting with metals! Visit the exhibition New York Silver, Then and Now to explore the rich history of silversmithing in New York City.
Get inspired by newly commissioned works by leading metalworkers, created in response to historical objects from the Museum’s collection, then learn some metalwork techniques to create metal craft of your own!

The Museum reserves the right to refused admission to latecomers.
For curator-led group tours:
- Space is limited to 25 participants and advance registration is required.
- Enrollment will close on Tuesday, October 1st at noon.
- Check in with Visitors Services upon entering the museum to receive a designated tour sticker.
- Meet the curator in the rotunda on the first floor under the Starlight chandelier.
- Minimum enrollment must be reached or the event may be canceled by email notification on October 1st and fully refunded.
- All sales are final.
