As a collector herself, Alice thinks like you do and offers tips about building a collection. With 30 years of in-the-trenches negotiating, buying, and selling, she knows the players – photographers, galleries, auction houses – and wants to empower others to buy smartly.

As a respected member of the field, Zimet is Chair, Photography Collections Committee, Harvard Art Museums; board member of the Magnum Foundation; and a member of the Acquisitions Committee, International Center of Photography.

As a teacher, Alice offers Collecting Photography classes at museums and schools across the United States. She also advises and offers 1-2-1 consultations.
