Our Mission
Urban Wildlife Arts is a non-profit, after-school performing arts program for children of all ages (located in Brooklyn, NY). We make original dance performances using our creativity and love of animals.
Our Classes
Each class creates an original ballet, modern dance, or theatre piece that delves into the unique lives of animals and other ecological themes. Through collaboration and cooperation, our students turn ideas into live performances for the local community. Dance and acting techniques are taught alongside collaborative storytelling, resulting in an original work that each student can feel proud of. Best of all, every student gets to take home an original, illustrated storybook or script of their work as part of the class, courtesy of the teacher’s design efforts.
