Jason Balish

Teaches at Brooklyn Guitar School

Classical guitarist Jason Balish is a dedicated teacher and a passionate performer. He is currently completing a post-masters Professional Studies diploma under the renowned performer David Leisner at the Manhattan School of Music. He also holds a Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music which he completed under the guitarist and composer Mark Delpriora. Jason has performed in Europe and throughout the east coast of the United States. He has taught students of all ages classical, jazz, and pop guitar. For the past two years he has been invited to give master classes at the Salisbury Classical Guitar festival. Nothing makes Jason happier than seeing his students fall in love with the guitar. Whether it is a hobby or a life long goal, Jason is committed to helping his students reach their potential and ultimately find the joy in every note plucked on the guitar.
