What you'll learn in this fashion class:

Do you daydream about being a fashion designer? Do you find that you're full of ideas, but when you put your pencil to paper it doesn't quite translate? We can help! Drawing is an invaluable skill that many people struggle with, but in our Fashion Sketching course, you will learn how to share your beautiful designs with the world through this extremely useful skill.

In this class, you will learn:

how to sketch figures
how to sketch using colored pencils
how to convey different fabrics and textures
design terminology

Projects: Fashion Sketch Book

Supplies: Not included: Sketch book, Mechanical pencils and colored pencils will be needed for class one. Other supplies will be discussed in class. Students encouraged to bring their own sketch book but paper is also fine for the first class.

Prerequisites: None!

Please Note: Adults are also welcome in this class.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy

You must give at least 4 business days notice to cancel your enrollment in the class, for a refund less a 5% cancellation fee.
Once the class has started, we can no longer offer refunds.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

I really enjoyed the class! The instructor was very knowledgeable and gave great lessons and I learned a lot! I've been wanting to take a fashion illustration class for a long time, and this was everything I hoped for. I just wish there was a part 2 of the class!
