I really loved the class. I knew nothing about tarot and did think we would learn a little about reading the cards. I realize now how much there is to learn, and reading the cards is not something to do lightly. I liked mama Donna very much and her knowledge of tarot and of course reading the cards. Donna is very warm and welcoming. She has a wonderful approach with Tarot Cards that is contemporary and relevant to our times. I appreciate her explanation of the history of Tarot Cards and the difference between the old cards and the more contemporary cards. She helped me see how the cards help people get in touch with their own inner wisdom and truth. I liked her positive approach and colorful visuals of the cards. I recommend this class for anyone who is interested in learning more about Tarot Cards.

Mama Donna is unique in her ability to open new understanding about intuition and perception. Her stories and insights can set you on a path of openness to everyday miracles that are not to be missed.

The instructor was nice. I envisioned an interactive class. The instructor lectured for over 1 1/2 hrs with history facts and detailed observations of tarot cards she uses. I found myself drifting away from the excitement I felt when I first logged on. My suggestions is for the instructor to inquire about the sets we owned and how we could have prepared for her class.

A great introduction to the Tarot! It was a magical and intimate evening with discussions on symbols, images and spirituality. It was nothing like the fortune telling, future predicting stereotypes that many people might think it is. I definitely want to take Donna's other courses.

I really liked that Mama Donna is very knowledgeable not just in tarot but on symbolism. She’s up to date with modern practices. She has a lot of good incites. She also debunks misconceptions which are important too.

Really great learnings and conversation

Mama Donna is such a warm, welcoming human. She made us feel at home right away. She shared her knowledge of the Tarot in an easygoing, gentle way. She gave a new perspective on how to interpret the cards and stressed the importance of using one's own intuition to guide their readings. I loved it. Great teacher. Knowledgeable, entertaining, organized. I got so much out of it and plan to take another course with her.

Mamma Donna is very knowledgeable yet very gentle and kind. She uses many anecdotes to help make the explanations of the cards easier to grasp. Be aware that she does not use regular Rider- Waite cards however the class was interesting and fun. I look forward to taking her other classes in the future.

An excellent investment of time and money. The approach that Mama Donna used was very easy for me to get on board with, to understand what the cards have the potential to show, to teach. Her logical approach, without being exhaustive (in three hours),sets a framework for great understanding and further study/practice. This class encourages you to develop your intuition. It was great to get together with like-minded individuals to discuss Tarot. In the class, the Voyager Tarot cards were used which is also sold in class. The Voyager card is somewhat different than the Rider Waite Tarot cards, it's a cross between oracle cards and tarot cards. I would recommend this class to beginners.

Held in such a special space, this class was intimate with about 10 tarot-interested newbies. Mama Donna was no-nonsense and gave a lot of insight about tarot meanings and how to look at cards, how trust in yourself, and answered questions. It was a great beginners course and really helped me get a sense of where to start looking at Tarot. It’s a very dense subject, requires a lot of experience and understanding, but this course was a great place to dip your feet in. I can’t wait to attend another workshop of hers.

Thank you!! This class was a great lecture on the specifics of tarot cards and it really improved my memory of the symbols of each card. Practice is a necessity for tarot card reading and we were given great tips to take home with us and I learned valuble advice on what to focus on and what to avoid for the best readings possible for all intentions. I enjoyed the history and backstory of tarot cards and Mamma Donna's unique approach to her readings. Her stories of multiple readings and clients were incredibly fascinating! She is a very genuine person and above all, honest and willing to help. I hope to return and continue to learn this skill with her in the future!

I really enjoyed Mama Donna’s beginners Tarot class. I knew nothing about the cards, didn’t even have a deck and just showed up with a notebook. I didn’t take notes because I was so absorbed in her class - which was perfectly arranged for someone like me who was a complete beginner. I’d always been interested in tarot, but found the idea overwhelming, and this class laid a great foundation - I’m no longer clueless and comfortable exploring other decks and interpretations thanks to this class! Very happy I went, and look forward to the intermediate class.

The class was amazing in meeting the needs of a beginner class, while addressing the needs/questions of each member of our group. This class was really fun. The energy was great and everyone had a unique reason for being there. I like the deck of cards Mama Donna sells, and everything we talked about was relevant and useful. The one thing I would add would be for her to read a few cards for us. I get that she doesn’t have time to do a reading for each person, but maybe she does one or reads on herself, to show how it works in practicality. A great class highly recommended.

Mama Donna is very knowledgeable in more areas then just tarot. It was great to get to know her and learn more about her experiences and skill set. I enjoyed the class, it was a small group so it's an intimate learning environment. As far as what you learn, don't expect to know how to fully ready the deck, this class serves as an intro that scratches the surface on how to read. If you are interested in learning I do think this class is a great starting point. I would recommend this class and may also sign up for more classes without a Donna.
