In this course, you’ll learn the wide variety of compositions that can be discovered out in nature. From sweeping landscapes and intimate scenes to close ups and abstracts. With a creative eye, one can come home from an outing with unique images.
Join Emily Carter Mitchell at the National Wildlife Refuge center and develop your artistic eye for nature photography. You’ll learn how your composition choice conveys your interpretation of the natural world. We’ll look at nature’s smaller scenes, including intimate landscapes, portraits of trees and plants, and abstracts from textures and patterns.
Working with a variety of focal lengths and learning how to maximize photographic opportunities based on the light available, you’ll improve your understanding of composition in nature.
