Capture the essence of Alexandria's historical charm and colonial architecture with tips from architectural photographer E. David Luria. Explore the waterfront, Torpedo Factory area, and King Street for stunning photo opportunities. Join us for an unforgettable photography experience.
Our safari will begin at the waterfront, move on to the Torpedo Factory area with its marina, the jugglers, the paddleboats and musicians, and then up King Street and its adjoining streets to capture the Town Hall, the storefronts, the colonial architecture, the doorknobs, the housefronts, finally ending at the Christ Church on Washington Street. Architectural photographer E. David Luria will give tips on informal portraiture and architectural photography.

Washington Photo Safari operates rain or shine. A separate itinerary is followed on rain or snow days, utilizing landmarks with unique photogenic interiors, such as The National Building Museum, Union Station, The National Postal Museum, The Lincoln Memorial, and the Jefferson Memorial.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non refundable registration fee.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
