Ken Disbennett, Silvia Script & Brayden Varr

Teaches at General Assembly

Ken Disbennett has been creating digital experiences for nearly a decade. Having designed for web, mobile, wearables and emerging technology, he has collaborated with companies including Nike, Redbull, CNN, TBS and Nokia. Currently, Ken is a Visual Design Lead at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts focusing on mobile experiences for Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line.

In recognition of his exemplary service in the classroom, Ken has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program and serves as a Member of the General Assembly Visual Design Product Advisory Board.

Silvia Brown is a visual and user interface designer with a communication design background from Carnegie Mellon University, Corcoran College of Art + Design, and Rhode Island School of Design. Silvia is known for her innovative solutions to complex problems that are functional, user-friendly and visually aesthetic. She has worked with various companies, including Bloomberg Sports and Wealth, BNY Mellon, Fidelity, Motorola, and Peace Corps to develop mobile-friendly and web applications.

In recognition of her exemplary service in the classroom, Silvia has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program.

Brayden Varr is an Art Director at iProspect, practicing strategic lead creative telling an engaging story. In his spare time, Brayden serves as a guest lecturer with Emerson College and Suffolk University in Boston, MA. In his instructional role at GA, Brayden hopes to equip and empower the designers of tomorrow with everything and anything they need to know to stand out in today's world.

Being born into the digital world, he posses a strong understanding of experience and visual design, but loves to work and think holistically, whether in be print, OOH, social, TV, or beyond. Always excited by new technologies and how they can be leveraged to tell a more impactful story, Brayden first adheres to a strict focus on the idea before all else.
