L.A. Times bestselling novelist Alan Watt is the author of The 90-Day Novel, Amazon’s #1 book on writing. He wrote the first draft of his novel, Diamond Dogs, in 90 days, (and later sold the North American Rights to Little, Brown for $500,000). He has won many awards for his writing, including the American Library Association's Alex Award, Barnes and Noble’s Discover Great New Writers, New York Times New and Notable Books, and France's Prix Printemps (best foreign novel). He is the founder of L.A. Writers’ Lab and publisher of Writers Tribe Books a publisher of literary fiction. He has taught PENCenterUSA’s The Mark program. A number of his students have gone on to become bestselling authors (two have appeared on Oprah) and win major awards for their work. Watt has been teaching writing since 1997, and lectures regularly on creativity everywhere from maximum security prisons to USC’s MBA program.
