Art Under Glass DeCoupage

Art Under Glass
Murray Hill, Manhattan

Murray Hill is a popular neighborhood for young professionals. Its streets boast numerous apartment buildings and townhomes that are a hop, skip, and a jump away from Grand Central Station and established office buildings. Its tree-lined streets along the East River boast skyline views and unique down-to-earth culture.
The owner of Art Under Glass began her career as a successful fashion designer thirty years ago. She sold her business to study fine art at Cooper Union in New York City and studied decoupage seriously for ten years. Decoupage is the art of decorating an object with a combination of cutouts, special paint, and other decorative items.
The “Art Under Glass” course allows students to create aesthetic designs on glass using magazines, newspapers, postcards, and greeting cards. The gifts make gifts and collectibles such as jars, trays, and vases. It is a creative way for artists of every level to create stunning pieces that bring the spirit of New York back home.
