About ESS Community Projects
Eckford Street Studio is a place where North Brooklyn's youngest artists come together to explore materials and processes, realize visions, inspire and be inspired, and make beautiful messes. Our teaching artists are practicing artists and master educators, with years of experience facilitating art investigations that bring together art history, hands-on skill building and problem solving, and the students' own life experiences.

Art as a Contemplative
I really enjoyed the class, which coming from someone with zoom fatigue says a lot. I would only suggest a bit more of an overview in the beginning explaining how the class would possibly go. That was more for my comfort level as this was the first time I've done this type of class. Other wise, great way to spend a Sunday afternoon -

Very intimate class size, great set up. However they don't like when you purchase via course horse. As it was mentioned over and over again after I had checked in. I am also always welcomed with a very confused and cold "prove your purchase" attitude everytime i've gone. I've still gone maybe 10 times now. Class itself is great but they're not happy to see you from course horse. lol Just show up I guess. -

Started the class with a few quick poses (under a minute) before moving on to longer poses. Great variety of poses, chill vibe, will come back! -

Awesome class. Loved the mix of different pose lengths. The atmosphere was relaxed, great music, and BYOB.
