Dim Sum and then Some
The instructor was great! She made it a lot of fun and was very patient with us all. She also made it easy and fun to interact with all of our other classmates. I loved how the recipe was emailed the next day so I didn’t need to write everything down or follow a piece of paper during the instruction. The class made something (Chinese food) that seems difficult to make, very simple and easy. The facility was well equipped and very clean. Oh, and the food was amazing! -
Dim Sum and then Some

Dim Sum and then Some
I've taken classes at HipCooks East. The West LA HipCooks location is much larger, but parking is an issue and requires you to remember to go outside to feed the meters as they max out for 2H. (class is 3H) The class I went to was taught by Katie and Loreal (spelling?) I've eaten plenty of dim sum, but have never been able to prepare it before. The class format is loose and encourages you to move around the kitchen and builds confidence in seasoning. There is no knife work in this class, but there is some frying work and baking. I enjoyed it. -
Dim Sum and then Some

Dim Sum and then Some
Thoroughly enjoyed the session! Our leader had great dim sum selections & it was fun doing preparations hands-on. The assistants made everything effortlessly clean & sanitary. My only issue was having to stand because I have a bad back — stools would’ve been nice. Overall though I had a great time in a very pleasant, cheerful setting -
Dim Sum and then Some

Dim Sum and then Some
The food was delicious and the instructor was fantastic! I took this course with my boyfriend on my birthday and had a wonderful time. -
Dim Sum and then Some
This hand-on cooking class was both fun and informative. I learned how to use and taste ingredients that I have never encountered and techniques for making dim sum that were new to me. Although this is a serious cooking class the light atmosphere made learning all the more enjoyable. Everyone was warm and friendly. I had a great time and would highly recommend this class to all my friends!
