Mug & Saucer Workshop

This engaging workshop teaches you how to create functional tableware using hand-building techniques with slabs of porcelain. During the session, you will learn to apply colored clay slips to the surface of your mugs and develop the skills to create distinctive decorative patterns in elegant shades of blue, black, and pink.

Workshop participants will complete at least two mugs and two matching saucers, each finished with professional glaze. Your handcrafted pieces will be ready for pickup two weeks after the workshop. The workshop fee per person includes all necessary materials and supplies: porcelain clay, hand-building tools, protective aprons, glaze, and professional firing services. Be prepared to get your hands dirty in the creative process; shorter nails are preferred for comfort. This workshop welcomes all experience levels and emphasizes learning fundamental ceramic techniques while creating functional art you can enjoy at home.
