Receive the top-notch, engaging, and non-judgemental art instruction that The Art Studio NY is known for. Whether you are a beginner, a more advanced artist, or preparing your fine art portfolio for high school or college, this inspiring drawing experience in our Manhattan art camp will spark your inner-artist, allowing you to create artwork to feel proud of. Small group art instruction is provided, so each student receives ongoing, personalized attention and guidance tailored to your skill level, needs, and interests. Enjoy the beauty and inspiration of New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art as YOU:
Receive tailor-made, encouraging, one-on-one expert art instruction in drawing, artistic technique, and individual self-expression in a small group setting (12 students maximum)
Create beautiful artwork with pencil drawing in the museum
Feel inspired by the MET museum’s life-size sculptures, master paintings, architecture, and interior spaces, such as Egyptian Temples
Learn how to express your personal artistic style
Explore, practice, and advance your drawing class techniques, such as: composition, shading, depth, line quality, dimension, realism, subject matter, mark making, and your own unique artistic style
Express yourself through drawing or painting, and experiment with art materials including: color pastels, charcoal, pencil, and mixed-media

Materials and MET admission are included.
Class tuition is neither refundable nor transferable. No refunds will be issued after registration and payment. In case of a Medically Certified illness, a credit will be issued after receipt of your physician’s documentation. The value of the credit will be for the balance of the remaining class sessions with an additional deduction of a $95 registration fee. Credit may be used up to 12 months.
If after your first class you are dissatisfied with the quality of your course, a written note must be submitted within 1 business day after your first class. After receiving your note, refund of class tuition will be reviewed by our staff. If a refund is granted, processing of refunds requires 8-10 weeks. A 5% nonrefundable processing fee will be applied.
Course Cancellations
Although course cancellation is quite rare, The school reserves the right to cancel classes or change instructor assignments and makes every effort to notify students in advance. If enrollment goals are not met, a course may be canceled up to 1 business day before the first scheduled class. In the event of cancellation, a refund or credit is granted. On occasion, a course start-date will be pushed back if enrollment goals are not met. In this instance, you will receive a credit for the price of the class that did not take place.
Please note that there will be NO exceptions to this under any circumstances.
Make-up Policy
Unfortunately, The school does not offer any makeups for classes missed. However, if the student wants to get the most from the course and the absence, they can tell the instructor when they will be absent and the instructor can provide some guidance on exercises to practice while away.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
