  • Introduction to Herbalism: Part 1

Very interesting class. The presenter, who is the business owner, is friendly and informative, patient and helpful. She provided notes after the class for those who want to remember the details of the discussion, which was extensive. I look forward to taking the next class. Very good value, too. Highly recommended and we were sent home with an herbal medicine made in class.

This was a very practical and informative class with an experienced, personable, and laid-back instructor. The Herbal Remedies Shop in Carroll Gardens is one-of-a-kind, with a lot of a terrific offerings. Students get 10% off what's in the store, in addition to the free herbal tincture that they take home after the session. The only slight drawback for me was the narrow, crammed space where we were seated, but all-in-all it was a great value and well worth the $40.

I recently attended Herbs 101 at the Remedies Herb Shop in Carroll Gardens and was pleasantly surprised to find a friendly environment for newcomers as well as a very knowledgeable proprietor. I find my self now infusing oat straw and dandelion root at home. I highly recommend this course and I look forward to taking more classes at this establishment.
