For over a decade, Kids at Art has provided the perfect environment for nurturing, non-competitive art programs where children can learn and create freely. Our age-appropriate art classes for kids 2 – 12 years old focus on the basics of visual arts and are a challenge to a child’s inventiveness, helping to develop his or her imagination.

We offer a varied arts program, including creative art classes, fashion design & sewing classes, drawing from the model, and more. Exhibits of their students’ work are held from time to time, for family, friends and the general public to see.

At Kids at Art, class size is limited so everyone receives individual attention.

And if you’re no longer a kid, we’re now offering great classes for older artists as well. From a portfolio class for teens to art classes and life drawing sessions for adults of all ages, Kids at Art has something for everyone.

What are some of your most popular classes that you offer on CourseHorse?

• Art classes for ages 5–7 years are our most popular.

• We've been in business for 15 years this 2016. I'm an artist that loves children, and saw a need in NYC at the time for children to do more art than they are offered in school (and still do).

• Our average class size is 7–10 children, except for our workshops in the summer and on holidays, which can be up to 20–25 children.
