The Lightroom Classic Develop Module - Powerful Editing Tools
Designed exclusively for photographers, the Adobe Lightroom Classic Develop Module offers incredible tools for editing our digital images.
Join Marie Joabar as she provides clear and easy to follow explanations of these tools and shows you various ways to edit your photos whether you shoot Raw or JPEG.
The Develop module provides the platform to make each image the best it can be. Marie will walk you though making global adjustments such as adjusting exposure, contrast, color, sharpness, noise reduction, and lens correction. Then we’ll move to the more powerful tools used for local adjustments such as the cloning, and the newer masking tools with the graduated and radial filters, and the adjustment brush.
This is a hands-on class, so you'll practice as you learn. Our class size is limited to eight students to ensure personal attention. Everyone will be given the same images to work with for consistency.
It will be helpful to upgrade to the most current version prior to the class.
Note:
At the class you'll bring your own laptop (desktops are fine too) loaded with LR Classic. We will not cover the plain Lightroom version which is the mobile version. If you haven’t already downloaded Lightroom go to the Adobe site and look for the $9.99 Photography Plan that gives you Lightroom Classic, Lightoom and Photoshop (make sure your plan includes the "Classic"). You can also download a fully functional 30 day free trial.
People who are interested in this class should have familiarity with the Lightroom workspace so we recommended that participants take The Lightroom Library or the Lightroom In A Day class before this one. Those classes lay the foundation for using Lightroom and having this grounding is helpful when working with any of the other modules. If your schedule does not allow for you to take either of those first, you CAN take this class but look for the next scheduled date for those and know that taking either of those will help you work through all that the Lightroom program offers.
Bonus offering - A review of the class as well as other features of the LR Develop module will be covered in more than 35 pre-recorded videos that students can watch at their own convenience. The information for viewing the videos will be given to you at the in-person class and students will have access to them for 90 days.
