What you'll learn in this kids jewelry class:
This 3 hour workshop introduces students to the art of glass beadmaking over a torch.
With an eye on safety, students learn the basic skills of flameworking to melt colorful glass rods into beads. Class covers introductory shapes in hot glass and decorative techniques including dots, lines, swirls and more. Students will make a number of beautiful handmade beads, which they can then turn into a simple bracelet or necklace. The process is mesmerizing.

A: No, there are no makeups allowed.
Q: Is a certificate of completion available to me after completing their class?
A: No
Q: Is a professional certificate available to me after completing their class?

School Notes:
Preparing for class
- It is recommended that students bring notebooks and water bottles to in person classes. All basic materials and supplies needed for the class will be provided. If students wish to use specific tools or materials not supplied in class they are responsible for obtaining these items themselves.
Studio Attire
- For your safety, protective eyewear must be worn at all times in all areas of the UrbanGlass Studio. We will provide appropriate eyewear for your use. Appropriate work clothes are also required. Flammable or synthetic fabrics, sandals and open-toe shoes are not allowed. Long hair must be tied back.
Refund Policy
Enrollment cancellations made outside sixteen (16) days from the first day of class are eligible for a refund less a 5% processing fee. Refunds will not be granted for any cancellations made inside sixteen (16) days from the first day of class, or for withdrawals during class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
