It was a great class which we learned. On the 1st class all about color theory. 2nd class, we had ha the on arranged 3 different styles of flower arrangements. Which was super awesome to touch and work with such fresh flowers. It is a very good course for someone like myself who’s never taken a class like this and was always dumb founded when it comes to flower arrangements . This color class also made me aware of how I put my clothing together!! Most of all Julio is a great instructor!!!
Class materials were poor quality and quantity.
The class was very enjoyable! Julio has an unassuming style and shared many tips on the process of providing arrangements to a customer. This ranged from specification gathering when meeting with the customer, cost planning of the arrangements, purchasing at the flower market, conditioning and creation of the designs. The first class was all lecture and the making of the 3 arrangements were during the second class. I would have preferred integrating parts of each such that each class would include making an arrangement. However after taking this class I understand doing so would have increased the cost of the class. I would have appreciated it if a color wheel was provided for the first class. One was passed around the class but having one for me to reference through the lecture would have been helpful. Alternatively it could have been listed on the course description as an optional class aid for students to get on their own prior to class. Julio answered all questions very patiently and went around to each student to give feedback or help with the arrangements as necessary. For each of the arrangements, Julio provided a “recipe”, demonstrated how to condition the flowers and then put the arrangement together. We had the option to shadow the design or change it up. I would definitely recommend this class!
Very enjoyable and informative class.
Engaging and, of course, knowledgeable teacher.
I found this class to be fun and informative. The teacher, Bridget was very sweet and knew her stuff about flowers. The wine and little snacks were very good as well. Getting to keep the huge flower arrangement was a bonus. I would be interested to do this again if you had flower arrangements for potted plants.
Great class. Wish there was more time!
The setting was not right for a food making class. The instructor was good. I thought we could have done more in 2 hours...
Really enjoyed the class. She was really knowledgeable
