Tyler is one of our popular teaching artists who has been with Creatively Wild for nearly two years, and he heads up our Teen program: Drawing, Anime + Manga, Advanced, and our Foundation classes. He also teaches our Adult programs: Oil Painting, Still Life, and our popular Plein Air Class (Painting Outdoors in Dumbo). Tyler was born and raised in Brooklyn and holds a BFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. In his own work, his main focus and background are in comic book illustration, children's books, traditional, and digital mediums. He is experienced in pencil, ink, watercolor, acrylic, oil, and digital art & portraiture and painting.
