You will need a reliable Internet connection as well as a computer or device with which you can access your virtual class. We recommend you arrive to class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you're able to set up your device and connection.
This class will be held via Zoom unless otherwise specified
The Special Topics course is designed for students who speak Arabic at a High Intermediate to Mid Advanced level. Classes focus on improving fluency and conversational skills, expanding vocabulary on advanced topics, refining pronunciation, and fine-tuning grammar. Students will read authentic media and participate in discussions on topics related to current events and cultures of the Arabic-speaking world. Special Topics courses are ideal language maintenance and can be taken multiple times as topics will change each session.
Prerequisite: Intermediate II or must speak the language at a Intermediate High to Advanced Mid level.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy:
Students may withdraw from the course at any time. The ICLS Group Evening Class Refund Policy is in the table below.
Withdrawal Period Refund
Before Registration Ends 100% of Tuition Paid
After Registration Closes and Before the 3rd Class 50% of Tuition Paid
After the 3rd Class No Refund
The student must notify ICLS immediately upon the decision to withdraw and complete the Student Withdrawal Form which is available from the school's Business Office to initiate a request for a refund. Refunds will be issued within ten (10) business days.
Absence Policy
Group Classes continue as scheduled even if a student is absent from the class. An individual student who does not attend a class will not be able to make up the missed hours. Please note that each instructional hour is 50 minutes in length.
Cancellation Policy
ICLS reserves the right to cancel a class due to a lack of enrollment. In the case of lack of enrollment the tuition, materials (if purchased), and registration fee will be refunded. Group Classes continue as scheduled even if a student is absent from the class. An individual student who does not attend a class will not be able to make up the missed hours even if 24-hour notice is given. Please note that each instructional hour is 50 minutes in length.
