The 16-Hour On-the-Job Training (OJT) Course is a mandatory requirement for all newly licensed security guards in New York State. This course must be completed within 90 days of employment and builds upon the foundational knowledge learned in the 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Course.

Classes are subject to rescheduling based on enrollment. Premier Protection Institute reserves the right to reschedule, combine, or cancel classes if minimum enrollment requirements are not met or due to instructor availability, weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Students will be notified as soon as possible of any schedule changes. If a class is rescheduled, your registration and payment will automatically transfer to the next available class at no additional cost.

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
School Notes: Students must present acceptable photo identification per NYS DCJS requirements: a valid driver's license, valid US passport, current government-issued ID, or current military ID. No other materials needed.
