What you'll learn in this soups class:

Make Gourmet Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches from scratch. This class is equally perfect for adults aiming to elevate their soup and sandwich meals and junior chefs looking to practice basic cooking techniques on their own.

You’ll learn how to transform fresh peak season tomatoes in a luscious flavor-rich soup unlike any other tomato soup you’ve ever had. Devour it for dinner, portion it out for lunch this week or freeze it for a rainy winter day. Grill up perfectly melted and crispy grilled cheese sandwiches to pair with your bowl of soup. Discuss endless grilled cheese sandwich combinations, with myriad cheese varieties and accompaniment possibilities.

In this class, you will make:

  • Heirloom Tomato Soup from Scratch
  • Crusty Melty Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

What is a Culinary Quickie?

  • A 1 hour cook along class
  • Make a meal from start to finish in less than 1 hour
  • A handful of easy to find ingredients (usually less than 10)
  • No special tools or equipment
  • No prep needed

This is a virtual hands-on class. You’ll receive a detailed ingredients, materials and prep list at least 1 week before class. No special tools or equipment required, but a blender or food processor is highly recommended. Recordings are made available after class.
