What you'll learn in this self improvement class:
Emotional Intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that collectively establish how well we:
Before attending class, participants will take an online Emotional Intelligence assessment, which will provide them with a baseline measurement of their strengths and potential blind spots with regard to relating with others. Throughout the course, they will engage in paired activities, as well as small and large group interactions and individual reflection.
The program includes:

- Perceive and express ourselves
- Develop and maintain social relationships
- Cope with challenges
- Use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way
Before attending class, participants will take an online Emotional Intelligence assessment, which will provide them with a baseline measurement of their strengths and potential blind spots with regard to relating with others. Throughout the course, they will engage in paired activities, as well as small and large group interactions and individual reflection.
The program includes:
- A personal behavioral profile, the results of which you will bring to your training
- 2-day highly interactive workshop and experiential learning
Who Should Attend:
- Individuals responsible for sustained relationships with internal and/or external clients
- Anyone in key collaborative positions working with others
- Individual contributors and managers
You’ll learn how to:
- Recognize your interpersonal strengths and potential blind spots with regard to Emotional Intelligence
- Identify the five domains within the EQ-i 2.0 assessment model
- Summarize what neuroscience research has discovered about emotions and actions
- Recognize ways that human beings are physiologically impacted by stress
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships
- Describe how emotional intelligence translates into high performance
- Make use of the EI model and associated competencies
- Employ strategies for enhancing leadership through emotional intelligence
Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

- Cancellations received up to 15 business days before the course are fully refundable.
- After that, cancellations are subject to the entire course fee.

If the school finds it necessary to cancel a course due to low enrollment, a full refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee will be made. We will not be responsible for participant’s airfare and/or hotel expenses or cancellation fees. Dates, times and prices of all courses are subject to change.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
