Making fettuccine pasta with alfredo sauce from scratch was as entertaining as it was educational, but Jyoti Patil was the best part of it all. Jyoti greeted me after arriving 15 minutes before the others. She introduced me to her assistant, the menu, and engaging conversation. The others were greeted with the same outgoing personality; this made the group more comfortable with one another. Each station was accompanied with a personal story that made cooking feel more hobby than chore. While the pasta was delicious, the best part was arriving earlier than the other guests.
